Cutlery Building Lofts

612 North 2nd Street Cutlery Building : 1860

The sale of the five-story Cutlery Building at 612 North Second Street is expected to close in January 2006. The 145-year-old, 40,000-square-foot building is currently occupied by the St. Louis Daily Record and Gateway Pension Services Ltd. Both will have to relocate as the floors are converted into residential space. Plans are to turn the ground floor into a Drunken Fish restaurant while renovating the upper floors into lofts, with an expected monthly rental rate of $2,000.

UPDATE | December, 22 2005 -- Drunken Fish Restaurant adding Laclede's Landing Location
Monsok So plans to spend $700,000 to turn the ground floor of the Cutlery Lofts Building into a Drunken Fish restaurant with plans to open in Summer 2006. The Laclede's Landing location will be the largest of three Drunken Fish restaurants.
