Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant : 1914
The Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant, located on the corner of Forest Park and Sarah Street, was established
in early 1914. The first Model T Fords rolled off its assembly line in April of that year. The building was
determined eligible for the National Register of Historic Places in March of 2002. Developer Rick Yackey has
the building under contract and plans to renovate it for use as loft condominiums and commercial space. A
restaurant and retail is planned for the first floor.

$1.38 million in Brownfield Redevelopment Program remediation tax credits
The Missouri Department of Economic Development has approved $1.38 million in Brownfield Redevelopment Program
remediation tax credits to help launch a $43.5 million redevelopment effort at 4100 Forest Park Ave.
