Developers Chris Goodson and Trace Shaughnessy are renovating the Eden Publishing Company building at 1712 Chouteau Avenue for use as 40 loft apartments at a cost of about $6.5 million. A display unit should be availalbe by Spring 2004. The buildings art-deco exterior is made up of variegated brick, terra-cotta and a great number of windows. Prices will range from about $800 to more than $1,400 per month. Some apartments will have rooftop decks facing the Gateway Arch.
